Developmental Disabilities Program Promotes Sheila Krausert to Assistant Program Director
Sheila has made an outstanding impact on our Developmental Disabilities Program since joining the team in 2015. We are pleased to announce that this fall, she became our Developmental Disabilities Program’s first-ever Assistant Program Director!
Garaudie Lenescat Promoted to Teens Learning Choices House Manager
Since 2018, Garaudie has been a dependable and creative staff member at Teens Learning Choices, our group home for young women ages 16 to 21. In her new role as TLC House Manager, Garaudie will be guiding TLC’s Milieu Counselors!
Heather Hall Promoted to Developmental Disabilities Program Coordinator
Heather has been an indispensable case manager in our Developmental Disabilities for many years. As DDP Coordinator, she will manage our Intensive Flexible Family Support Services Program and facilitate our new Family Support Center Advisory Council!
Louis's Hero Day
Earlier this year, we were surprised and amazed to hear that Louis, a six-year-old boy in our Adoption program, saved the life of his school librarian using the emergency skills his foster mom Veronica taught him.

A Quinceañera for Kristina
16-year-old Kristina recently celebrated her quinceañera with her foster parents Carlotta and Kwesi. It was an outstanding way to incorporate Kristina’s culture into their lives together as a foster family!
CFCS Sends Record Number of Kids in Foster Care to Sibling Connections Camp!
Sibling Connections hosts a summer camp where siblings separated from each other in foster care spend a week together, reconnecting and having fun. This year, five groups of siblings in our foster care program attended, a new CFCS record!
