#ThankYouThursday: The Benson Henry Institute

This Thursday, we want to say a big thank you to the Benson Henry Institute at Mass General Hospital, who donated a free course of Positivity and Relaxation Training (PART) to our staff earlier this year! PART is a 9-week program that helps participants develop a self-care routine to manage stress, improve their outlook and enhance their quality of life. PART was developed by the Benson Henry Institute, and the Institute donates one free course a year to a business or organization. This year, that organization was CFCS!

Our employees have stressful jobs, and this training was perfect for our workplace. Our staff learned a lot of great strategies for managing stress and being more mindful, including learning how to check in on themselves and practicing daily gratitude. PART has made a real difference in the lives of our employees who took the course, and we’ve even continued meeting after the program concluded to keep checking in with each other and discussing mindfulness strategies!

Thank you to the Benson Henry Institute. You’ve made a real difference in our employees’ lives, which means we can do an even better job helping children and families!
