Six Youth Adopted On National Adoption Day

Bridges Homeward had a busy National Adoption Day this year! We were so excited to gather with families at the Boston Juvenile Court and the Dedham Juvenile Court to celebrate their adoptions. This year we supported the adoptions of six amazing children and teens, and today we want to congratulate all of these new families.

Congratulations to the G family, who adopted two teenage siblings! These bright, self-possessed teens have felt completely embraced by their adoptive parents, and we have truly enjoyed watching their relationships bloom.  Over 20 members of their family came out to support their adoption!

Congratulations to the small but mighty C family! Adoptive mom Mary was so happy to adopt her three-year-old son George on National Adoption Day.  George was nothing but smiles and energy during his adoption legalization, which made for a particularly memorable event!

And last but certainly not least, congratulations to the three young S siblings! These siblings, two girls and one boy, have each found permanency with their own adoptive parents. The adoptions of these siblings by three different families happened in one grand legalization ceremony on National Adoption Day.  The three families, all of whom share close relationships with each other and are ensuring that the three siblings are growing up together, were elated to have their adoptions finalized together. Congratulations to this big, happy family!
