CFCS Joins the Institute for Child Welfare Innovation’s #10thousandlives Movement

We are pleased to announce that CFCS has joined the #10thousandlives movement, an initiative the Institute for Child Welfare Innovation launched in October 2020. The Institute is offering 100 free hours of coaching, consulting, and training to ensure that child welfare professionals have the tools and confidence needed to find and engage families. Their goal is to work with 1,000 professionals in order to make a collective impact in the lives of 10,000 children and families. Soon, CFCS staff will be part of that special 1,000!

The Institute has allotted six of their 100 hours for staff who work in our Residential Services and Intensive Foster Care programs. During these trainings, which will be permanency-focused, our staff will have the benefit of input from experts in the field of achieving permanency for youth of all ages in foster care, but especially youth ages 13 and up.

We’re very excited to be included in this initiative! Thank you to the Insititute for Child Welfare Innovation – we can’t wait to work with you and create even more positive outcomes for youth in foster care!
