The Shining Stars of October

Each month, employees at CFCS nominate their colleagues for one of the highest honors a CFCS employee can receive: the Shining Star award! Shining Stars are recognized for going above and beyond in their jobs. Nominations are written on slips of paper, put in the official nomination box, and then chosen blindly by the previous month’s winners. We would like to celebrate this month’s Shining Stars, Intensive Foster Care Social Worker Brittany Edwards and Family Support & Stabilization Family Support Specialist Maggie Smith!

Brittany always has such a positive and friendly attitude, even when there’s reason not to. She always goes above and beyond to ensure her clients and the program has what they/it need. She volunteers for extra tasks and does a great job representing the agency and program! We’re so lucky to have her!

Maggie is a delight to work with! She is positive and upbeat while also being insanely prepared and organized. We appreciate her commitment and passion!
