#ThankYouThursday: Silver Lining Mentoring

We want to thank some of our amazing community partners who have helped us support our clients through quarantine! Today, we’re giving a huge thanks to Silver Lining Mentoring, who donated six Chromebooks to our group homes! 

Many of our group home residents have mentors through Silver Lining Mentoring. Recently, our Putnam Place residents told their Silver Lining mentors that they needed new laptops during this time, to help them attend school online, work on applying for jobs and to college, and keep them connected with their families. SLM came through, bringing Chromebooks for each resident who needed one! 

These Chromebooks will be a huge help to our residents, and will stay at our group homes to help future residents as well. Thank you so much to Silver Lining Mentoring for being an amazing partner in supporting youth in foster care!
