The Family Support & Stabilization team, with bears that will soon go to good homes.

As a United Way partner agency, CFCS gets access to the many in-kind donations United Way receives. Last week, they received a particularly snuggly donation that we just couldn’t pass up: 500 brand-new, fully assembled teddy bears from Build-A-Bear! Our Family Support & Stabilization team couldn’t pick them up fast enough. We didn’t take all 500 of course, but 25 of those bears will brighten the day of families in our Young Parents Support Group and our Parenting Journey class.

It’s rare that this many brand-new, high-quality toys are donated to us, and we’re so happy we can give them to the children we serve. Thank you to United Way and Build-a-Bear for this wonderful donation!
