Thank You for Celebrating With Us At Our 29th Circle of Friends Gala!
Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us at our 29th Circle of Friends Gala on Tuesday, May 30! 240 guests enjoyed themselves and were inspired at the Royal Sonesta Boston that evening. With the generous support of our amazing corporate partners and donors like you, we raised over $200,000 to support the youth and families we serve!
If you weren’t able to attend our Gala, don’t worry! We want to share with you the stories that touched our hearts that evening.
We had the privilege of meeting Yazmin, one of our Independent Living residents, who is an incredible, resilient young woman. Despite experiencing great hardships in her past, Yazmin will be the first to tell you that she is now a very happy young person!
We were proud to honor Bob Gittens, our esteemed Executive Director. Bob will be stepping down from that position later this year after serving our agency since 2016. We are grateful for Bob’s years of leadership, especially his initiatives to improve our DEI practices and embed permanency practices into all of our programs.
We were very excited to hear from Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell! The Attorney General was excited to share her deep affection for Bob and his wife Donna, who have been great supporters of hers throughout her career. She also spoke of her passion and appreciation for agencies like ours, who fight to keep youth out of the criminal justice system by ensuring they have safe, stable, loving homes.
We want to once again thank all the donors who supported our Gala this year, both corporate and individual. Your support helps to create brighter futures for youth and families throughout Greater Boston and Massachusetts.
