Karlah Paul Promoted to Program Director of Teens Learning Choices

We’re excited to announce that Karlah Paul has been promoted to Program Director of Teens Learning Choices (TLC)! Karlah has worked at CFCS for the last year and a half, first as a part time Family Support Specialist in Family Support & Stabilization, and then as the Clinical Case Manager at TLC. In her new role, Karlah will oversee the operations and programming at TLC to ensure our residents gain the skills and access the resources they need to be successful. Recently, Karlah was kind enough to talk to us about herself and working at CFCS!

Tell us a bit about yourself!

I attended Cambridge College for my graduate studies. I majored in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Trauma. Before CFCS, I was an in-home therapist at South Bay Community Services in Malden, MA. I’m a huge sports fan and will defend my favorite team even if they are losing; go Celtics and Patriots! And I’m an introvert at heart, but the field that I’m in pushes me out of my comfort zone.

What are you looking forward to in your new position?

I’m looking forward to collaborating with TLC colleagues and working with the residents with a goal of creating a healthy culture in the workplace in mind and fostering positive connections with staff, residents and collaterals.

What do you like most about working at CFCS?

Building meaningful connections that are “real,” genuine and authentic.

What you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy playing basketball, writing plays, spending time with family and friends and binge-watching TV!
