Intensive Foster Care Families Celebrate the Holidays with Gingerbread Houses

Our Intensive Foster Care and Family Services teams like to recognize the amazing efforts of our foster parents and families several times a year, including celebrating them in May for National Foster Care Month and throwing a winter party in December each year. Unfortunately, our foster families and staff couldn’t gather together this year, but that didn’t stop our IFC team from helping our foster families celebrate the holidays!

Earlier this month, our IFC staff delivered gingerbread house kits to all of our foster families. In lieu of an actual Winter Party, this year we held a gingerbread decorating contest among all our foster families. Below are some photos of the fantastic entries, as well as the winner:

Thank you to Fratelli’s Bakery in Quincy, who donated some of the gingerbread house kits! You helped make sure that every one of our foster families could build a gingerbread house together!
