Want to Foster or Adopt? Start Your Journey with Us in January 2023!

Are you ready to offer a safe, nurturing, loving home to a youth in foster care? Then you should join our upcoming Massachusetts Approaches to Partnership in Parenting (MAPP) training series this winter, starting January 2023!  

MAPP training is a required 30-hour course for anyone in Massachusetts who is interested in adopting or fostering youth in foster care.  If you would like to enroll, get in touch with us today!  We can be reached by email at familyservices@bridgeshomeward.org or by calling (617) 876-4210 and asking to speak with a member of the Family Services team.  We will guide you through the process step by step.

All training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 9 PM.

January 10, 6 PM to 9 PM

January 24, 6 PM to 9 PM

January 31, 6 PM to 9 PM

February 7, 6 PM to 9 PM

February 14, 6 PM to 9 PM

February 28, 6 PM to 9 PM 

March 7, 6 PM to 9 PM 

March 14, 6 PM to 9 PM

March 21, 6 PM to 9 PM

March 28, 6 PM to 9 PM

  • This training will be conducted virtually.  Access to Zoom and an internet connection are required. 

  • MAPP training consists of 10, 3-hour modules.  Participants are required to attend 9 of the 10 modules.  Both members of a couple must attend training together.   

  • Participants are enrolled in MAPP training after they have completed an application and the pre-screening process, which includes background record checks and a physical standards/safety check of the home.
