CFCS Awarded $22,000 Grant by Cambridge Community Foundation

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded a $22,000 grant from our partner the Cambridge Community Foundation to address the impacts COVID has had on the families we serve!

This generous grant will support the needs of our low-to-moderate income clients who live in Cambridge, Somerville and Medford. We will use these funds primarily to help clients in our Developmental Disabilities, Family Support & Stabilization and Independent Living programs purchase groceries. We may also use some of these funds to help the wonderful youth in our Independent Living apartments pay their utility bills.

COVID-19 has affected the youth and families we serve harder than it has affected most.  With this grant, we can provide much-needed support to our clients, helping keep them afloat and safe throughout this pandemic.
