A Fun Day for FSS Families

At CFCs, we believe that giving families a chance to relax and have a good time together is just as important as supporting them through hard times. In that spirit, our Family Support & Stabilization Program recently invited all the families they serve on a complementary trip to Dave and Buster’s. Around five families were able to attend, and they all had a blast! One family was glad for the opportunity to do something outside of their usual routine, especially since a trip like this is usually outside of their budget. A few of the boys had a lot of fun competing with FSS caseworks Josh and Alfonso in basketball, bowling and air hockey. Events like these usually become lasting memories for families. For one mother, this trip was truly special because shortly afterwards, her family experienced a temporary separation. CFCS is committed to supporting and strengthening family connections.

FSS organizes fun family events like this one about twice a year, and would love to organize even more in the future. This trip was entirely funded by FSS, including tickets and food for the families. If you’d like to make a donation to support more wonderful trips for our families, click here!
