Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us at our 150th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, May 9. We gathered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge to celebrate 150 years of family. With the generous support of our amazing corporate partners and donors, we raised over $200,000 to support the youth and families we serve!

We recognized our agency’s legacy of 150 years of caring for youth, families, and individuals with disabilities with an original video featuring our CEO Yoyo Yau and our wonderful Program Directors!

We heard from adoptive parents Cecilia and Brendan about the first time they met their soon-to-be adopted daughter Alivia, how the three of them became a family, and where they are today. Their story was as hilarious as it was heartwarming. But don’t feel left out if you missed it - you can read the full transcript of their speech here.

And we were honored to host our keynote speaker, Maria Mossaides, the Director of the Office of the Child Advocate in our state. With advanced degrees in law and public administration, Maria is originally a Bradford Fellow from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Before her current appointment, Maria served as our agency’s Executive Director from September 2008 to October 2015. Thank you to Maria for being a ceaseless supporter and a moving speaker at our 150th Anniversary Celebration!
