You’re Invited to our 29th Circle of Friends Gala!

Join us on Tuesday, May 30th, at 6PM at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, MA as we celebrate our amazing community and all those who help to build it! 

We will honor our esteemed outgoing Executive Director Bob Gittens!

Please join us as we come together to honor Bob Gittens, who will be stepping down later this year after serving as Bridges Homeward’s Executive Director since 2016! Bob has devoted the bulk of his career to public service, from the Office of the Governor’s Legal Counsel to the Massachusetts Parole Board to serving as Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services to his most important role of all: leading Bridges Homeward. We are grateful for Bob’s years of leadership.

Attorney General Andrea Campbell will speak!

We are excited to hear from Massachusetts’s Attorney General as part of our program! Andrea Campbell spent part of her youth in foster care and has focused much of her career, as a lawyer and public servant, on fighting for equity, justice and opportunity for all.

We will recognize our Independent Living program!

Our Independent Living Program provides holistic support and safe apartments for youth ages 18 to 22 as they transition out of foster care into the community. You’ll get to meet Yazmin, one of our Independent Living residents, who is an incredible young woman. Yazmin has her own accounting business, sings and plays the trumpet in three different bands, and she is fiercely dedicated to her education.
