Ways to Support CFCS this Fall

As we move into the colder months, you may be looking for ways to support your local community and make a positive impact on the world. At CFCS, we try to make a positive impact every day in our work. Today we want to share some fun ways you can help us change the lives of those in need for the better!

We’re members of the AmazonSmile program! When you shop with AmazonSmile, you’ll find the exact same low prices and vast selection as Amazon.com, but with the added benefit that AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice at no cost to you! To shop with AmazonSmile on behalf of CFCS, just go to smile.amazon.com and type in “cambridge family & children’s service” when choosing your charity to support. It’s that easy! Click here to learn more.

We’ve successfully partnered with One Simple Wish for over a year now to fulfill the wishes of children and young adults in foster care, and we don’t plan on slowing down! Check out our organization’s page on One Simple Wish to see the wonderful wishes youth in our care are hoping you’ll fulfill! We’ll keep posting wishes regularly for the many deserving young people we’re helping to keep safe and happy.

Donating never goes out of style! When you donate to CFCS, your money goes directly to helping improve the lives of children in foster care and their families. In addition to youth in foster care, we are proud to support mothers and fathers as they focus on being the best parents they can be. And we help to ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities have strong support networks, so they never find themselves isolated or without help. We invite you to be part of our work, and these families’ lives, today!

Are you driving less? Do you have a car that you no longer want? You can donate it! Your used car will be sold at auction to benefit the children and families CFCS serves. You can learn more here.
