Want to Foster a Child? Join Us for Virtual MAPP Training this Winter!
Right now in Massachusetts, there are over 10,000 children and teenagers in foster care. That number has increased steadily over recent years and has placed a tremendous burden on our state’s child welfare system. Our social workers work hard to meet the needs of children in foster care. But every day, we receive referrals for children in need of a home who we don’t have the capacity to serve. Simply stated, we do not have enough foster parents to care for all of the children that need them.
You have the power to change this today by deciding to become a foster or adoptive parent. But don’t worry – you won’t go through this process alone. CFCS will support you every step of the way and every day you foster a child with us!
Our popular virtual MAPP training series has just a few spots open for prospective foster parents only this winter. If you’re ready to start your journey as a foster parent, get in touch today! Contact Nicole Purcell at (857)-275-2250 or by email at npurcell@helpfamilies.org.
Participants are enrolled in MAPP training after they have completed an application and completed the pre-screening process. Please get in touch today! Space is limited.
