Rosa Espiritusanto Promoted to Family Support & Stabilization Manager

We are pleased to announce that Rosa Espiritusanto has been promoted to Family Support & Stabilization Manager! Before coming to Bridges Homeward in May 2021, Rosa completed her Masters in Criminal Justice studies with a concentration in Youth and Crime at Suffolk University. She joined Bridges Homeward because she fell in love with our mission and the community work we do. Rosa hopes to continue her educational goals and acquire her Masters of Social Work so she can become a licensed social worker.

Since joining Bridges Homeward, Rosa has worked with several of our programs. She assisted our Intensive Foster Care team with in-home visits, and has been working with Putnam Place to assist a Spanish-speaking resident.

Below, Rosa shares her goals and what she loves about her job. Congratulations to Rosa on this exciting promotion!

What does your new job entail?

This new role entails providing as much support to the FSS team as possible. I will be learning new tasks and finding ways for the FSS program to continue to work smoothly.  My responsibilities include approving timesheets and mileage forms, supervising part-time staff, and maintaining a small caseload of families. I also assist our Program Director and Assistant Program Director with day to day tasks like reviewing paperwork and following up with staff.

What’s your favorite thing to do at your job?

I enjoy our team meetings and getting to work together. We’re able to laugh and get to know one another better. It brings us closer and it allows us to work better together.

Do you have a philosophy/motto with which you approach your work?

I always say that the work we do is extremely important because we’re helping people achieve their goals. We are trying to help people navigate day-to-day challenges that they might be dealing with and that’s why it’s so important for us to give them as much support as we can.

Do you have a goal you want to achieve at Bridges Homeward?

I would love to continue to work with different departments and get to know the work done by them in order to support them in any way possible.

What’s your favorite thing about working with your team?

Everyone in the team is supportive and the work collaboration is amazing! When someone is feeling overwhelmed, there is always someone ready to step up and support them in any way possible. I appreciate our team and the way we can be there for one another.
