New Name, New Site

You already know Cambridge Family & Children’s Service. Now it’s time to meet Bridges Homeward! Starting today, we are the same organization, people, and programs you have known – just with a different name and look. 

Our new name truly represents the mission and intentions of our agency as they have evolved throughout our 150-year history. Our commitment to permanency – the goal that every person we work with has a caring adult, a loving parent and a supportive community in their lives – is a commitment to helping our clients find or work towards a place they can call home. But home is only found through the bridges we build to connect with each other. Hence: Bridges Homeward. 

In 2022, after the challenges we have weathered and will continue to face, we are stepping into a new era: one where our public persona fully reflects the innovation of our staff, the progressive values of our agency and the amazing perspectives of children, teens and families throughout Greater Boston and beyond.
