Lisnalda Beriguete Promoted to Healthy Families Manager
We are pleased to announce that Lisnalda Beriguete has been promoted to Manager of our new Healthy Families services! Our Family Support & Stabilization program provides Healthy Families services for young parents living in Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, Winthrop, and Charlestown. We are excited for Lisnalda to lead our new program, which will provide extensive support to parents age 23 and younger as they navigate parenthood.
Lisnalda joined Bridges Homeward as a Family Support Specialist, providing resources, skills, and guidance for permanency to families. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and has prior experience supporting children and families at a bilingual preschool. Below, Lisnalda shares the responsibilities of her new position and what she hopes to accomplish at Bridges Homeward.
What does your new job entail?
My new position entails helping to manage the operations of Bridges Homeward’s Healthy Families program. Healthy Families staff encourage young parents at their own pace to develop the knowledge, skills, and support networks that will enable them to be strong, resilient parents with access to the resources needed to successfully manage their lives and be the best advocates for themselves and their children.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is build amazing relationships with the families we serve. I am super excited to still be part of the FSS team as I have built great relationships with everyone.
Do you have a goal you want to achieve at Bridges Homeward?
A goal I want to achieve is to be able to service and provide for as many families as possible. I want families to have stable and loving homes as well as be aware of all the wonderful resources our state has to offer.
