FSS Assistant Program Director Thara Young Accepts Provider’s Council Scholarship

Earlier this month, our Family Support & Stabilization Assistant Program Director Thara Young officially accepted her 2019 Provider’s Council Graduate Leadership Scholarship at the Provider’s Council 44th Annual Convention and Expo! Thara, along with our Executive Director Bob Gittens and Director of Programs Courtney Gomez, were excited to attend the Provider’s Council’s lively annual conference, which is one of the highlights of the year for us and other organizations that work in human services. At the end of the day, Thara was honored by Provider’s Council President and CEO Michael Weekes and the Board of Directors during the Presentation of the Chair’s Award and Reception.

Congratulations to Thara! This scholarship is well-deserved. We’re very proud to see Thara being honored for her deep sense of commitment to this work. This scholarship will support her in pursuing her dream of being a positive force in the field of human services. We share that same dream with her, and we’re so proud to have her work with us!
