CFCS Residential Services Program Awarded the Highest Accreditation by CARF

In the fall of 2020, our Deputy Director Noreen Dolan and Director of Programs Courtney Gomez were hard at work completing CFCS’s application for accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We pursued accreditation for our Residential Program in accordance with federal guidelines that are intended to ensure that residential programs and facilities consistently provide quality care to their residents. We’re pleased to announce that our Residential Services program, which comprises Putnam Place and Teens Learning Choices, has received a three-year accreditation certificate, the highest level of accreditation CARF offers!

CARF is an international, non-profit organization with a mission to provide accreditation standards and surveyors for human services organizations worldwide. Residential staff and members of the CFCS Senior Leadership Team worked hard throughout 2020 to ensure that all our policies, protocols and practices at our group homes were best-in-class and were in line with CARF’s standards.

We want to express our great appreciation for the dedicated and caring staff at our group homes. Thank you for all your work to support the youth and young adults in our care!
