Bridges Homeward Featured by Star Market

Local grocery store chain Star Market has featured Bridges Homeward as one of the beneficiaries of Star Market’s generous GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS program!, Star Market raises donations for nonprofits by selling reusable grocery bags. Bridges Homeward has benefited from this program many times, and we’re excited to be one of the agencies they’re highlighting!

In our feature, Communications Manager Catherine Martin shares about the services we provide, the youth we impact, and the one thing she wants everyone to know about our agency.

“We make sure all the youth, adults and families that we care for have their needs met. For example, they have housing; they have food on the table; they’re going to school; they’re receiving therapy and medication. But we also ask, what about their emotional needs? Where are their relationships? What does their family look like? This is the shift in social work towards permanency.”
